This illustration was commissioned by Pheasants Forever magazine, the article was about hunting with an old dog, perhaps the dogs last hunt. Its based on a sketch that I did a while ago for Field and Stream magazine titled "A world without shotguns”  The sketch was the perfect solution for the illustration. Available in one size for now.
