Years ago I saw a version of this painting done by Mead Schaeffer, it reminded me so much of some of my observations of fisherman I have guided or watched in the stuggle to get it right during a feeding frenzy so, I had to do my own version of the illustration. It was used by Cabelas as a cover for their fly fishing catalog many years ago and the original hangs in my studio. Now its available as a print, the size is 12x13.5 printed on archival paper.
